"Hannah" continues to have the "best of both worlds"...

Not even Barry Manilow could knock off the Disney juggernaut known as Hannah Montana…

The “Hannah Montana” soundtrack was once again No, 1 on the Billboard 200 selling another 203,000 copies. Barry Manilow’s “The Greatest Songs of the Sixties” came in second.

The “Hannah Montana” soundtrack is the first TV soundtrack to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It’s only the third TV series soundtrack to ever top the chart and the first since “Miami Vice” in 1985-86 (1959’s “The Music from Peter Gunn” was the third).

Last week “Hannah” broke a record held by the Beatles and Elvis Presley with six singles debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 in the same week. The Beatles and Elvis each had three. “Hannah” had a total of seven songs on the chart, though, as another song re-entered the countdown from August.

Though the songs are actually performed by Miley Cyrus, they are credited to Hannah Montana. The one song credited to Cyrus, “I Learned From You” (her outstanding duet with her dad) did not make the chart; but I’m still holding out hope for it.
