Kenley Must Go!

Okay. Let me hear you all out there in blog land…
Say it with me. “Kenley must go. Kenley must go. Kenley must go…”
You guys know I’ve been pretty hard on my beloved “Project Runway” this year. But over the last two weeks I’ve found myself getting into it—finally.

And all of my enthusiasm is being directed against my least favorite contestant of all time—Kenley.

She has gotten on my nerves from the beginning with that grating laugh and her cocky attitude. But over these past two weeks, she has become absolutely unbearable.

It started last week during the avant garde challenge. She was so sure her design was going to win and it looked ridiculous. When Tim told her it looked like Glinda the Good Witch (which it did), she was completely insulted and basically told Tim he didn’t know what he was talking about (which is a cardinal sin in my book). Then, when Heidi dared question her dress at the judging party, she told the camera, “If Heidi is going to start talking nonsense, then I’m going to step in and set her straight.” WHAT?!

Finally, when the judges trashed her on the runway, she angrily snapped back at them telling them how wrong they were. I would have sent her home just for that, but she managed to survive.

This week she was in no danger of going home, which only made her that much more annoying. When Tim tried once again to give her good advice, she told the camera, “I’m not going to listen to that.” Not listen to Tim? Granted, the judges have disagreed with him more often than not this season (including about Kenley’s outfit), but he’s still Tim Gunn! And when the judges trashed Joe’s outfit on the runway, Kenley burst out laughing, as did her client, who Kenley had turned into a “Mini-Me.” Thankfully, the judges heard my pleas and gave the win to Jerrell, which of course, made Kenley pout all the way off the runway…

Now, I should probably say here that there is a small chance that Kenley is being edited to play the villain. But based on her comments and attitude lately, it wouldn’t take much editing to convince me…

Kenley must go!

Which leads me to next week’s show…

In the previews—which you always have to take with a grain of salt—Tim tells Kenley to drop the attitude (See why I love him?), which will no doubt spark a nasty chat with the camera. And then, Kenley gets dressed down by the judges as well…

However, I am not going to take that to mean that Kenley will be gone and instead am going to continue my chanting. And yes, I know that the show has already been filmed and it won’t make a difference, but it makes me feel better…

Kenley must go. Kenley must go. Kenley MUST GO!...
